1. Overview

At IT TECH, we want you to be completely satisfied with every purchase and repair. This policy outlines your rights and our procedures for returns, refunds, and exchanges. Your statutory rights under Irish consumer law are not affected by this policy.

2. Repairs – Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with a repair carried out by IT TECH, please contact us as soon as possible. The following conditions apply:

  • All repairs carry a 90-day warranty on parts and labour
  • If a fault directly related to the original repair reoccurs within 90 days, we will re-examine and re-repair the device at no charge
  • The warranty does not cover new damage, physical damage, water damage, or faults unrelated to the original repair
  • If we are unable to resolve a warranty issue, a full or partial refund of the repair cost will be considered at our discretion
  • No Fix, No Fee: If we cannot repair your device, you will not be charged for labour

3. In-Store Product Returns

For products purchased in our store at 19 Pearse Street, Ballina:

  • New, unopened products may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided they are in their original packaging and condition
  • Opened or used products may be returned within 14 days if they are found to be faulty or not as described
  • Pre-owned/second-hand devices are sold as tested and graded. Returns are accepted within 7 days of purchase, provided the device is returned in the same condition as sold and the fault was not disclosed at the time of sale
  • We reserve the right to refuse a return if the device shows signs of damage, misuse, or tampering after purchase

4. Online Order Returns

For products purchased through our online store:

  • You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item, in line with EU consumer rights (Distance Selling Regulations)
  • Items must be returned unused, in their original packaging, within 14 days of notifying us of your wish to cancel
  • Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrectly sent
  • Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned item, using the original payment method
  • Faulty items may be repaired, replaced, or refunded at our discretion in accordance with Irish consumer law

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Devices that have been damaged, modified, or tampered with after purchase or repair
  • Products where the seal or packaging has been broken, unless the item is faulty
  • Gift cards or store credit
